Awards
TOP 40 AWARDS - Trophies will be awarded to the twenty participants judged to be the finest entries, displaying the best detail and cleanliness, best workmanship and/or most unusual design. Trophies can be awarded to any car, truck, van, SUV, motorcycle, etc. registered for the show. Recipients will be chosen by an elite panel of judges hand picked by show officials.
*All entries wishing to be considered for specific awards noted below should check appropriate boxes on entry form and provide any additional required information at time of registration.
Rutherford Trophy/Best of Show – Presented in memory of two brothers Milton and Walter Rutherford, who were instrumental in the founding and development of the Heart of Bucks organization and very active in the Rotary Club of Doylestown. This trophy will be awarded to the entry chosen as the best overall according to the show official’s criteria.
Donald L. Tilley Memorial Award – Presented in memory of Donald L. Tilley who’s time and energy contributed greatly to the success of the show over the years. This winner will be chosen by the show staff and will have the opportunity to be featured on the Poster advertising next year’s show as well as selected other advertising material.
George Carr Memorial Award – Senior Division – Presented in memory of George Carr who was a long time participant and supporter of the Heart of Bucks show. This trophy will be awarded to the best entry in the senior division of the show.
Central Bucks Chamber Award of Excellence – Selected and presented by past presidents and members of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce.
Mayors Cup – Selected and presented by the Mayor of Doylestown.
Club Participation – Awarded to the car club with the most entries in the show. Based on the number of cars registered, not the amount of members present. Windshield cards of registered cars will be required at trophy presentation.
Pros Pick – Selected by local automotive restoration and/or customization professionals in accordance with show official’s criteria.
Ladies Choice – Recipient chosen by a panel of female show participants and volunteers hand picked by show officials.
Kids Choice – Recipient chosen by a panel of young show volunteers and guests between the ages of 7 and 14 hand picked by show officials.
Excellent Late Model – Awarded to the best car entered in the show with a model year of 1995 or later. Cars will be judged on appearance and condition of original parts in all areas including body, paint, interior and engine compartment. Cars will also be judged on overall appearance and cleanliness and fit and finish of parts.
Fabulous Flames – Awarded to the entry with the best flame paint job at the event. Criteria may be – most original or most well executed, or most detailed, etc. Recipient chosen by a panel of judges hand selected by show officials. *Check box on entry form.
Finely Tailored Interior – Awarded to the entry with the best interior at the event. Criteria may include – planning and layout, quality of stitching and fit of coverings, detail, cleanliness and craftsmanship. Recipient selected by a panel of judges hand picked by show officials. *Check box on entry form.
Horrendous Horsepower – Awarded to the entry with the best visually pleasing, high horsepower engine at the event. Criteria may include – size of engine and available horsepower, amount and polish on chrome and other metal surfaces, amount of detail and cleanliness on engine and surrounding compartment. Recipient chosen by a panel of judges hand picked by show officials. *Check box on entry form.
Spectacular Paint Job – Awarded to the vehicle with the best paint job at the event. Judged on overall appearance, originality, detail and cleanliness, as well as shine and reflective quality. Recipient chosen by a panel of judges hand picked by show officials. *Check box on entry form.
Super Smooth – Awarded to the vehicle entry with the most flowing, uncluttered lines at the event. Judged on overall vehicle appearance and fit and finish of body, stance of vehicle, detail and craftsmanship. Recipient chosen by a panel of judges hand picked by show officials. *Check box on entry form.
Trick Truck – Awarded to the best pickup or van in attendance. Criteria may include- attention to detail and craftsmanship, fit and finish of parts, overall appearance and style, originality and uniqueness. Recipient chosen by a panel of judges hand picked by show officials.
Weekend Wrench – Awarded to the best all home built (without assistance of professional restoration or custom experts) in attendance at the event. Judged on quality of work, fit and finish of parts, detail and originality. *Check box on entry form.
